The refrigeration of precise air conditioning in data center mainly involves the use of refrigeration system, air supply system, heating, humidification and control system, etc. The refrigeration system is composed of compressor, condenser, expansion valve and evaporator, which is connected into a closed system with a pipeline, and the refrigerant circulates in the system. Specifically, the low pressure refrigerant steam is inhaled and compressed by the compressor into high pressure steam, and is discharged to the condenser for condensation. The condensed refrigerant liquid passes through the expansion valve and enters the evaporator for evaporation and refrigeration. This process includes not only the transfer of cold volume, but also the exchange of substances, which will not affect the air quality and humidity of the equipment room. In addition, the data center uses line-grade refrigeration, a "hot air capture" architecture that cools the hot exhaust of IT equipment before it may be mixed with ambient air in the equipment room to improve cooling efficiency.
The chilled water system with the air conditioning system in the data center room as the centralized cold source. Compared with the independent direct evaporative air conditioning system, the system has higher refrigeration efficiency, more centralized and less equipment, more stable operation, lower failure rate and maintenance cost. The chilled water air conditioning system is widely used in many large foreign data centers.
