It can prevent corrosion inside the metal pipe, thereby extending the service life of the pipe. Semi-conductive buffer water-blocking tape for high-voltage cables is usually used between the high-voltage cable insulation shielding layer and the aluminum corrugated pipe armor layer to play the role of electrical connection, reduce the enrichment of the insulation surface charge, and thus reduce the possibility of partial discharge.
