Product Description

T-OF001-G.652.D AOF
Low Water-peak Non-Dispersion Shifted Single-mode Fiber is designed for transmission systems operating over the entire wavelength window from 1260nm to 1625nm, which both keeps low dispersion in standard 1310nm window and makes full use of E-band (1360-1460 nm) with low attenuation in 1383 nm water-peak region. AOF fiber not only optimizes low attenuation and dispersion across the entire wavelength window from 1260 nm to 1625 nm, but also reduces bending losses at the wavlength of 1625nm. Besides, the fiber provides bandwidth resources for Trunk, Metro Area and Access Network. It can meet the need of a various kind of businesses for bandwidth as well, such as voice, image and data.
Application
With its wide spectral bandwidth and excellent transmission performances, AOF fiber provides superior performance in supporting Ethernet ,Internet, Long-haul Trunks Communication,CATV and WDM. It is completely interchangeable with standard single-mode fiber. It can be used in all types of cables, including ribbon, slotted core, layer strand, central tube, ADSS, OPGW, and interior tight-buffer designs.
Features
AOF fiber complies with or exceeds the ITU-T Recommendation G.652.D and the IEC International Standard 60793-2-50 type B.1.3 Optical Fiber Specifications.
The optical fiber preform is manufactured using the advanced VAD process. Because of the advantages of the fiber drawing process and the adopted VAD preforms, AOF fiber shows perfect refractive index profile, excellent geometrical performance , low attenuation, etc.
1.Designed for operation over the 1260nm to 1625nm wavelength spectrum, completely low attenuation in the 1383 nm region;
2.Outstanding optical performance supporting high-speed transmission technologies, DWDM and CWDM;
3.Being compatible with existing 1310nm equipment;
4.Accurate geometrical parameters that insure low splicing loss and high splicing efficiency;
5.Excellent PMD factor supporting high-speed and distance upgrades.
