FTP Cat7 network cables use multiple strands of high-quality oxygen-free copper as conductors, which helps ensure stable signal transmission. Oxygen-free copper has excellent electrical conductivity, which can effectively reduce signal attenuation and improve transmission efficiency. The conductor is covered with an insulating material, usually FMPE material, to prevent electrical interference between conductors and ensure the purity of signal transmission. FTP Cat7 cables use an efficient shielding structure, including wire pair shielding and cable overall shielding (FTP, i.e. longitudinally wrapped aluminum foil plus braided mesh). Wire pair shielding is to shield each pair of copper wires to reduce interference between wire pairs; cable overall shielding is to shield the entire cable to prevent external electromagnetic interference from affecting the signal. This double shielding design gives FTP Cat7 cables excellent electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk protection capabilities.
