Black medium-density polyethylene sheath material MDPE adopts a special base material formula and adds a variety of additives. MDPE is made by comprehensively improving polyethylene and can meet the requirements of different cables. Injection molding grade MDPE plastic sheath material can be used to make optical cable sheath, overhead cable insulation sheath and other environments with strict requirements on sheath strength and wear resistance.

Precautions for use:
1. This product is divided into A material and B material. When using, one pack of A material is mixed with one pack of B material. During use, A and B materials are mixed evenly, and no moisture is introduced during the mixing process. A material does not need to be dried. The use of raw materials with broken packaging is strictly prohibited. Soft air packaging can be used after discharge verification. The A and B materials should be mixed and used within 8 hours to avoid affecting the extrusion surface of the cable.
2. For first-time processing and use, it is recommended to clean the screw and barrel thoroughly, and avoid introducing moisture and other impurities during the processing.
3. When adding other color masterbatch, it is recommended to dry the masterbatch in an 80 ºC oven for more than 2 hours to avoid moisture affecting the extruded surface.
4. When the extrusion process requires changing the main engine speed, it is necessary to slowly adjust the main engine speed, and do not increase or decrease the main engine speed too quickly to prevent poor plasticization.


Extrusion process:
1. It is recommended to use PE specific screws for extrusion.
2. It is recommended to use segmented cooling in the water tank, with the first section having a temperature of ≥ 60 ºC.
3. It is recommended to use extrusion or semi extrusion molds when extruding insulated wire cores of 6mm2 or less.


Processing technology:
It is recommended to use a polyethylene specific extruder for processing.

Crosslinking conditions:
The crosslinking conditions depend on the uniformity of the mixture of material A and material B, the insulation thickness of the wire and cable, humidity, crosslinking temperature, and the sealing degree of the steam room.
Boiling and steam cross-linking time: Steam temperature is 90-95 ºC, and the steam room is well sealed.

Packaging and Storage:
This product is packaged in vacuum sealed aluminum-plastic bags, with a net weight of 23.75kg/bag for material A and 1.25kg/bag for material B (23kg for material A and 2kg for material B in CGN-YJWG-10G). The net weight of each pallet of products is 1.25 tons. The product should be protected from damage or moisture during transportation or storage, and the storage environment should be ventilated and dry, avoiding sun exposure, rain, and mechanical damage.
The storage period of this product is 6 months from the date of production.
