Function of the fire separated layer in the flame-retardant cable:
a. When used as the insulated core,it can keep stabilization of the core structure.
b. It can ensure the tightening of the core and prevent from damaging of the insulation.
c. It can prevent bonding of the insulation,outer sheath and the inner coating layer,and will not affect mechanical, physical and the electrical performance of the cable.
d. When cable is burning,it can absorb a great deal of heat.The formed carbonization layer can separate the oxygen gas and protect the insulation in order not to enlarge loss of the fire.
Requirements of fire separated wrap to the flame-retardant cable:
a. It could not absorb the moisture.
b. It shall have high oxygen index.
c. It shall of good flexibility and easy to be wrapped.
d. It shall have same operation temperature with the cable.
e. It could not damage the environment and the human body in the wrapping process.
f. It should have good tensile strength and certain elongation rate.
g. It should have good carbonization performance while burning.
Storage:
It shall be stored in the dry and clean warehouse and the shelf life is 6 months after the manufacturing date.
