TOEM high temperature optical fiber is usually made of materials with high melting point and low thermal expansion coefficient, such as high silicon oxide materials or special coatings (such as polyimide coating). These materials can maintain the structural integrity and transmission performance of the optical fiber at high temperature, ensuring that the optical fiber can work normally without damage in high temperature environment. High temperature single-mode optical fiber has single-mode transmission characteristics, that is, the optical signal is transmitted along only one mode in the optical fiber. This helps to reduce the dispersion and loss of the optical signal and improve the transmission bandwidth and transmission distance of the optical fiber. High temperature single-mode optical fiber is particularly suitable for long-distance, high-speed optical signal transmission. Some high temperature single-mode optical fibers are designed with special coatings, such as polyimide coating. Polyimide is a polymer material with good high temperature resistance and low temperature resistance, good mechanical strength, and excellent comprehensive performance.
